Trying for the cel-shaded with texture look that seems to be so popular these days. Obviously didn't quite turn out the way i intended it to. That white highlight part is absolutely grotesque! Or maybe its the colour palette thats affecting the whole piece?
Of course, i could just look-up some tutorials, but where's the fun in that?
EDIT: The highlighted part bugged me too mch. Had to go back and change it.
happy chinese new year to all you oriental brothers & sisters. during the holidays, i went to stay over a friend's house (who i'm doing the cups business with) and went to see their factory while i was at it. here are some of the samples i brought back. seeing the samples (and the quality of them) spurted quite a bit of enthusiasm and life back into those of us involved. So lets hope this vibe keeps up.
going back to my architecture roots here. had the idea floating around my head for ages...my design, for my house, which is based on the look of my sig. nothing new or fancy, but did try to limit myself to within a 30x30m area. (Didn't wanna over-do it, eh?) Colour version coming (possibly) soon.
wow, 3 posts in as many days...lets hope i can keep this going.
as an added bonus, a t-shirt design i submitted to www.dookaz.com so go there, register, and vote for it if you want it to see production. and of course buy one when it does. cheers!
